I was told I was going to see a horror movie and this is what started playing. Besides that upset, this is a very heartfelt movie exploring what people go through when they have Tourette’s. It’s very sad at times, but at other times you see true joy.

I watched no trailers before seeing this movie. The beginning of the movie, I was loving it. That only lasted for around half of the movie. It kind of makes me sad because it seemed like it was going to be a great movie. The designs that were used, were great. The storyline on the other hand, I just didn’t love it.

I feel like I’ve watched Lake Mungo before, but I’m not 100% sure. This is such a well put together found footage film. You actually feel like you’re watching a documentary of a family looking for answers. If you’re looking for a good found footage that doesn’t involve being lost in the woods, this one is it.

Another found footage film, but this mixes horror with comedy. It’s a fun ride. You watch them try to get funding, mistakes on casting being made, and someone being shot – in a funny way. Don’t worry though, it all goes downhill in the end.

I’ve been on a found footage roll, so here’s another! This one is terrifying because it takes on home invasion – which is a real fear many people have in the world. What this guy does is crazy and made me not want to drink orange juice for a while. Hangman is one of my new favorites after watching it.

Friends going on a trip takes a turn, and one of them actually does turn into something else. This is one of the movies I watched for the first time at random, and I’ve recommended it to people who enjoy found footage. It has a very raw feeling, jump scares and it gives you such an uneasy feeling at some points.

Hokum is a movie that uses a story about a witch to build a movie, which I actually enjoyed. There’s a lot of mystery about this witch and it turns into something a little like 1408 (2007 film based on a Stephen King short story). There are a few characters in the movie that add to the film. I just know whenever I go to the woods, I want to be like Jerry.
